Children’s Ministry programs are a resource for our parish families as they share the faith of the Catholic Church with the next generation. Our sessions are offered weekly from September through April on Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon. Registration is required to attend.

Working closely with their parents, children wishing to complete their sacraments of initiation will be prepared to make their First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. This program is offered to children who have been baptized, are 7 to 8 years, and have completed one year of religious instruction either in a parish Faith Formation program or at a Catholic grade school.

For children in preschool through the 5th grade, we provide a curriculum through Loyola Press that centers around Ignatian spirituality. Children will encounter Jesus through guided meditation, prayer, art, multimedia, and more! Classes meet weekly on Tuesday evening (6:00-7:00 pm) or Wednesday afternoon (4:30-5:30 pm).

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 11:00 am Mass (periodically during the summer months and weekly during the school year). School-age children are dismissed after the opening prayer to the Day Chapel with a catechist. During this time, children listen and discuss the Sunday Readings in an age-appropriate way. Come and see what it is all about!

Vacation Bible School is traditionally held the second full week of June. From preschool through the 5th grade, children are treated to a vibrant, unique, summer adventure in our Catholic faith. We also welcome junior high youth, high school youth, and adults to volunteer for the week.
