The Music Ministry team at St. Pius X provides liturgical music in a variety of styles to accommodate the preferences of our actively participating ‘singing assembly’. Joan Whelan is the Director of Music for the parish. Joan also trains Cantors and helps couples plan music for their weddings and families plan music for memorial services and funerals.
Due to the social distancing requirements during the pandemic, all rehearsals for our regular choirs and ensembles have been suspended. We have two smaller ensembles singing for our special celebrations and occasionally at weekend liturgies throughout the month. We are praying for the day when all of our musicians can safely gather to rehearse and once again lead the music for our assembly. If you love to sing or play an instrument, we would love to have you join us! Please contact Joan Whelan via Flocknote, email or by phone 281-8509.
