We are excited to support a donation drive for Period Pals 406, a local nonprofit founded by one of our own parishioners. On the weekend of July 18–19, a collection bin will be available in the Gathering Area for donations of new, unopened feminine hygiene products. Needed items include pads, tampons, and liners.
Through monetary gifts, fundraising, and product donations, Period Pals 406 provides feminine hygiene products to nine local organizations serving individuals who cannot afford or easily access these essential items. Recipient organizations include Angela’s Piazza Women’s Drop-In Center, the Community Crisis Center, St. Vincent de Paul, Tumbleweed, New Day Ranch, YWCA, Love and SONshine, Dress for Success, and the Montana Rescue Mission.
Period Pals 406 was founded in 2021 by St. Pius X parishioner Magdalen Wojtowicz. Fellow parishioners Lynn DeMeyer, Rosalie Foster, and Kathleen Bernhardt also serve on the organization’s board. They share that the need in our community is tremendous and are deeply grateful for the generosity and support of our parish family. Thank you for helping provide these basic necessities with dignity and compassion.
