Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is seeking volunteers for a number of areas if you are seeking a way to serve:

  • There are opportunities such as preparing/serving breakfast and/or lunch during the week, as well as a Saturday brunch
  • They have started opening their charity office as well which volunteer opportunities could be anything such as QuickBooks/data input, reconciling checkbooks, and bank/errand runs for the clients we serve.
  • There is always a need for sack lunches and here are the details: they encourage those who prepare sack lunches to do so at home. Typically, a sack lunch includes a PB&J or meat/cheese sandwich, a bag of chips, a bottled water, a soft fruit or fruit cup, and something sweet like a granola bar or cookie. You can be as creative as you’d like with what you put in it, but these are the staples. You can make however many you’d like. You’re welcome to drop them off anytime during the week between 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday at the door facing our parking lot (It looks like a dock area with stairs) Just let Billie (contact info below) know a little advance so that she can let our kitchen staff know to expect and help you.
  • They also take sack lunch supplies anytime that they can assemble themselves.)
