Growing in our Catholic Faith is a process beginni
ng at the first sacrament of initiation: our Baptism. This growth is nurtured throughout our lifetime.
Christian Formation seeks to be a resource to families as they model and teach the faith to their children. Our classes our offered weekly from October through April. Registration is required to attend.
KINDERGARTEN (Click on link to left for Kindergarten syllabus.)
We will be using the materials: God Loves Us by Loyola Press. Classes are offered weekly on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons.

Our catechists will be using materials from the Finding God series by Loyola Press. Classes are offered weekly on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons. We also offer an evening class time on Wednesdays.
FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADE
This year we will be starting with an overview of the sacraments. Our focus will then turn to living as disciples of Christ and ministry. We will be exploring the ways that the 5th and 6th graders can serve in ministries now and in the future. We will also be enjoying some fun activities sprinkled throughout the year to help build our sense of community.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
Classes are offered to baptized children in the 2nd grade who have completed one prior year (parish or catholic school) of formation classes. Working closely with their parents, children wishing to complete their sacraments of initiation, will be prepared to make their First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School or VBS is traditionally held in June. VBS runs Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Children ages 4 through 6th grade are engaged in lessons, music, craft and play. It is a vibrant, special, summer adventure in our Catholic faith! We also welcome junior high youth, senior high youth, and adults to volunteer for the week. Registration is required.
