Need HELP for Family Promise Host Week!

St. Pius X Family Promise Host Week begins Sunday, January 21st.  We are short some Overnight and/or Evening host volunteers.  Here are the following opportunities to serve.  Family Promise happens at the St. Pius X Youth Center.  If you could help with one of these, please email Shelly at sg@stpiusxblgs.org.  Instructions provided.   

  • Two Evening Hosts for Tuesday, January 23 (6:30pm-8:30pm)
  • Two Overnight Hosts for Tuesday, January 23 (8:30pm-6:00am)
  • Two Overnight Hosts for Friday, January 26 (8:30pm-6:00am)
  • One Evening Host for Friday, January 26, 6:30pm-8:30pm)
  • Two Evening Host for Saturday, January 27 (6:30pm-8:30pm)


Interfaith Martin Luther King Service – Sunday, 1/14

Not In Our Town, Billings’ annual Interfaith Martin Luther King service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, at Wayman Chapel AME Church , 402 S. 25th St. Billings.

The speakers will reflect on the legacy of the civil rights movement and how it affects them and their community. The program will emphasize how we can continue to be upstanders, not just bystanders, when we witness injustice.

 

During 2018, Not In Our Town celebrates its 25th year.



Parish Blood Drive

Parish Blood Drive: Make a life-saving difference for someone—donate blood! St. Pius’ next United Blood Services Blood Drive will be Tuesday, January 16. Please sign up in the Gathering Area of church on January 6-7 and make an appointment. Or, you may log on to www.bloodhero.com (sponsor code: stpiusx) to schedule one. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred. Please give the gift of blood in the New Year!

January 1, 2018 Mass

January 1- New Year’s Day: Mass is at 10:00am. Fr. Wayne and the parish staff wish everyone a blessed and holy Christmas season. Happy New Year in 2018! The parish office will be closed January 1-2.
